By using the tissues of the body, including muscle and organ

so the body can convert fat into glucose??

The short answer is yes, fat is a long term storage agent
for energy, containing at least twice the calories as does
protein and/or carbs. Protein is also used likewise if
energy needs are high enough, which is why people on intense
diets lose lean muscle as well as fat.Quoted message said:

I guess, my question would be: If you drink only water
for 14 days, how much weight will you loose then??? And
is it healthy?Quoted message said:

If you're going to do a fast, do a juice fast of primarily
vegetable juices, and maybe some fruit juice as well.
Water fasting is in my opinion destructive on the body,
juice fasting meanwhile can be harmless if not taken to
the extreme.-Chad

so the body can convert fat into glucose??Not fat is the way it's normally meant. "Burning fat" means
breaking down fatty acids for energy and fatty acids can't
be made into glucose. On the other hand glycerol found in
triglycerides can be converted to glucose fairly easily.
Most of the brain's glucose during a fast comes from
converting muscle protein to glucose however.MattLB

All things being considered it has few health benefits
because one loses lean muscle and organ tissue while losing
some fat. Research shows that this is a poor way to lose
weight as it only encourgages the yo yo effect because the
body goes into starvation mode and gladly springs back with
a vengence to put calories back into storage. Some weight
lost will be water and doesn't represent real loss and is a
part of the starvation responce. Research shows the best
approach is to lose about 1 - 1.5 pounds/week for best
results at long term weight loss and maintaining at a lower
level. 500 cal/day/week in most people comes close to on
pound, which is about 3500 calories of stored energy.Quoted message said:

Divide this by nine roughly to get the fat loss, but then
there will be other collateral losses along the way.No!
