I'm talking about the grills that have heating elements on
both top and bottom.
Has anyone tried both and have an opinion about the relative
merits of the two? Here's my take, with the limited
information I have:
HB has removable grills, convenient for dishwashing.
Foreman is reputed to be working on this, but it's not in
market yet.
I think Foreman opens wider for thicker steaks.
I've heard that the HB top grill doesn't brown as well as
the Foreman. I haven't found that to be so.
The HB has a timer, convenient. Some models of the Foreman
may also have a timer, but not the one I tried.
The HB opens flat in case you occasionally need more grill
space and are willing to sacrifice cooking time.
I'd appreciate any other comments.
