I live in North London. Without obviously disclosing
salaries, I suspect most people who frequent this group earn
a hell of a lot more than me. I also go walking in the Lakes
regularly (25+ times a year). I wasn't aware that only
people who live near hills go walking among them... ;-)

I suppose it's equally 'ironic' to see Mercedes dealerships
in the north? Because obviously everyone up there hasn't got
two pennies to rub together, and they all do their shopping
in Lidl and Aldi, trying to stretch their benefits as far as
possible before returning to their poky terraced houses that
are black from all the coal dust in the air etc. etc. yadda
yadda... Whereas down here in the SE, we're all whizzing
around in our executive cars, throwing cash out of the
windows because we simply don't have enough room to store it
all, before returning to our 17-bedroom mansion in
Hertfordshire, or perhaps the penthouse apartment in
Mayfair... :-)

No, because you get Merc dealerships all across the country,
not just in a restricted part of it. Where the alti watches
were only available in the SE. The reason for it being
marked as odd isn't that they're available in the SE, it's
that they're *only* available in the SE.
