    made of? (i.e. aluminum, tin, steel

  2. Tin hasn't been used for a century or more except as a
    coating in some cans. Squeeze a soft drink can and then a
    can of beans, the difference is obvious and very diagnostic.
    Steel cans, especially larger sizes, have soldered seams,
    which might also contain some tin.

    Aluminium is light, steel is heavy. Steel cans are plated
    with tin, and often plastic on top of that.
