  1. Since our car went belly-up in January (cambelt went and
took the camshaft with it...) I've not been going to WW as
    a) I couldn't justify the expense having just forked out
£800 for repairs, and also not having a car for a couple of
weeks didn't help as I couldn't physically get there.

However, we've now got a new(er) car (2yr old Ford Focus
estate - very snazzy!) which we've taken out a loan for at a
very good rate, we're also xferring the balance on the
credit card onto one which gives a brilliant rate (4.9% for
the life of the balance transfer), so have decided that WW
    can have me back again!

And its not before time - when I stopped going I told myself
that I was going to be really good and keep strictly
pointing everything, not to lapse into bad ways etc... did I
heck as like... am dreading going back for a weigh-in...
there's just no incentive for me if I don't have a weekly
weigh-in to go to, and Paul agrees - in fact he has decided
that he may well start coming with me!

So - it can't be tonight as the cat has to go to the vets,
so NEXT Tuesday will be WI day - I have a week to rid the
fridge & freezer of those things that have sort-of snuck in
there when I wasn't paying attention...

One good thing tho, I had to buy new jeans this weekend and
the size I was in, ie 24, was too big, so I've got the next
size down at 22... seriously impressed! NSV eh?

  2. Congrats on going back to weigh ins!! They will keep you
honest and on a downward trend. Congrats too on the
    smaller jeans

See - you didn't stray tooooo far off the beaten track if
you need a smaller jeans size! Well done for that!

And glad to hear you are reliably mobile again. It does make
    a big difference.

I too need the discipline of going every week. Even though
I didn't go the last two times, I *THOUGHT* I was going,
right up to the last minute, so I did stay close to my
points. It will be interesting to see if the WW scales
agree with the trusty rusties at home, and show a loss...
    Roll on Thursday evening!

  8. Great NSV and good to see you have wheels again. I don't
know what I would do without a car.
