Can someone explain to me what the Flan Rouge is? I thought Flan was a pastry?

Flan is actually a desert, called custard in English. So if we're talking a perfect after dinner snack for a sprinter (who has just won a bunch sprint somewhere) a "Flan Rouge" might be the item 😄 Custard with red berries and a cherry sauce ... Yum !

Flamme Rouge refers to the red chevron hung at 1 km to the finish
