My endo called me yesterday and told me not to use the software that I was given with the cable for my UltraSmart meter. She said downloading the meter into the software will change the readings on the meter. Or something to that effect. It didn't sound at all good. She also said the software is being recalled/rewritten.

I haven't used the software yet. I've only been using the meter for 24 hours.

Just thought I'd pass this on.
Vicki
I'm in the U.S. and upgraded to the new release of the software about a month ago. I've uploaded results at least twice since then. I haven't seen any problems except it comes out too wide on my screen. I haven't compared numbers carefully, but I have looked at the glucose trend graph on the computer and the average of all results on the meter and didn't see any strange results showing up.
The software on the US site is probably identical to the software on the Canadian site.
