recently got switched back to Beta Blockers (from the Calcium Channel Blocker, Cardizem) because of recent angina diagnoisis.
was first given Toprol XL 50mg (split/twice a day) but was really having problems with headaches and drowsiness.
i have now switched to Propranolol (Inderal) 40mg (3 times a day) instead of the Toprol. the Inderal get points for helping me with some social phobia/anxiety issues that the Toprol did not.
plus, the headaches are fewer.....yet i really miss the no- hassle "one-a-day" easy convenience of the Cardizem and the fact that it controlled my BP yet didn't make me as drowsy all the time.
question: is there any kind of "user-friendly" style (one pill a day) Beta Blocker available that perhaps also goes easy on drowsiness factor?

Inderal SR (sustained release) is available in various dosages...ask your doc..
I switched from Toprol to Atenolol since it comes in generic and I have no insurance...I take it once a day.
