  1. My current weight: 155.6 lbs
Weight change since my last recorded weight: -1.6 lbs
Total weight change to date: -76.4 lbs

The bad news: I missed my RAFL goal by a week. The GOOD
news: I lost this week. The BETTER news: I reached my mini-
goal of 75 lbs total weight loss. The BEST news: I'm still
here, like the battery bunny, working my program. I'm very
close to reaching my next mini-goal of having 10 lbs to go
to my WW goal. Not long before I have to think seriously
    about my personal weight goal.

Not as much biking this week as I'd have liked. A couple of
days of rain, a couple of days of wind, a couple of days of
construction errands conspired to keep me off the bike. I
also had a major squeak when I pedaled so back to the shop I
went. They fixed it on the spot, noticed my seat post was
wobbly and replaced it, and adjusted my speedometer from the
default 27" wheel calibration to the correct 26" wheel
calibration. Now I'll find out how slow I really am. <G> I
figure I've been averaging about 10-11 mph.

Today I'm spending the day with my mom celebrating her 73rd
birthday. We're going shopping. I hope to buy a new spring
jacket, and I'm about ready for some new smaller clothes.
Certainly my wardrobe for warmer weather clothing is non-
existent. Last year this time I was still wearing my size 2X
tops and 1X pants. Those clothes are GONE!!!

It's the best day of my life!

  9. I'm not sure what effect the kitchen/bathroom remodel is
having on me. Meal preparation is a major deal; refrigerator
in my living room, small cooking appliances in my
unfinished, dark and damp basement, utensils buried under
    plastic sheeting...

I'm so tempted to run out for MacDonald's or something every
night, and I KNOW I can't afford to do that.

  11. I'm not terribly upset about missing my RAFL goal. My
general trend was downward and that's what's important.

I ended up with a couple of T-shirts only. No pants or
shorts. I can probably hold off for a couple of weeks yet.
It's only MARCH and I'm in Minnesota after all. We could
still get a couple of snow storms yet.

My mother and I celebrated by eating at a very nice
Chinese restaurant that served "family style." My mother
has to be very careful with sodium and I try to pay
attention to fat content. Betweent the two of us, we tried
to make good food choices, and neither of us bothered
eating any rice at all. I was careful about portion sizes
though I did have second helpings of everything. Still, we
ended up with leftovers, which we boxed up, brought home,
and then threw in the trash. I didn't eat dinner last
night, just a scoop on non-fat frozen yogurt worth 2
points. I'm not sure how to count yesterday's lunch out. I
might just say 20 points, be careful the rest of the week,
and see about working in my exercise.

The bad news: I missed my RAFL goal by a week. The GOOD
news: I lost this week. The BETTER news: I reached my mini-
goal of 75 lbs total weight loss. The BEST news: I'm
still here, like the battery bunny, working my program.
I'm very close to reaching my next mini-goal of having 10
lbs to go to my WW goal. Not long before I have to think
seriously about my personal weight goal.

Not as much biking this week as I'd have liked. A couple
of days of rain, a couple of days of wind, a couple of
days of construction errands conspired to keep me off
the bike. I also had a major squeak when I pedaled so
back to the shop I went. They fixed it on the spot,
noticed my seat post was wobbly and replaced it, and
adjusted my speedometer from the default 27" wheel
calibration to the correct 26" wheel calibration. Now
    I'll find out how slow I really am. <G> I figure I've
    been averaging about 10-11 mph.

Today I'm spending the day with my mom celebrating her
73rd birthday. We're going shopping. I hope to buy a new
spring jacket, and I'm about ready for some new smaller
clothes. Certainly my wardrobe for warmer weather
clothing is non-existent. Last year this time I was still
wearing my size 2X tops and 1X pants. Those clothes are
    GONE!!!

It's the best day of my life!

  14. You are going to blow away if a strong wind comes by.

Now if you think about it that is a good thing until you
have to land..... LOL However, you could land on the sandy
beaches of a secluded tropical island and just relax.

Way to go and go and go and go!!!!

  18. Oh I missed last night's broadcast (out with Mom) and
    today's re-broadcast (shopping for kitchen appliances). I'll
have to go to the Web site and listen online.

My neighbors and I are surviving the transit strike much
better than the strikers I'm sure. There doesn't seem to be
any progress at all. Some of us wonder if management isn't
holding out to break the union. If that's true, I'm sure the
weather will break before the union does, which means that I
will indeed be riding my bike to work eventually. I'm just
waiting for the weather to warm up a bit, the winds to
recede, and the threat of snow or rain to dissipate. On the
other hand, if I wait till all those conditions are met, the
bus strike could well be over before I bike to work!

  19. Nope, WW Online doesn't send out magnets. We just get
different colored stars on our weight tracker.

I think I'm taking a stop at another wayside rest. Between
yesterday's Chinese food out and today's emergency I'll=die-of-
hunger lunch break at a Mexican diner, I'll have to extra
conscientious this week about both points and activity if I
want to see a loss next week.
