Stayed the same weight. 8 weeks gone by. This is the first
week I didn't lose. But I didn't gain either. I'll just
stick with it and I know I'll lose soon.

Hi, Richard, Maintaining is better than gaining. Next week
will be better.

Good Morning, My name is Diane and I am new to this group. I
have been lurking for some time and figured it's time to
join in the battle of the bulge. I just started my new way
of eating and I need all the support I can get. Richard, I
have been a saint since March 18th and I was doing well
until the last 2 days. I gained .4 for no apparent reason.
So, your not gaining, is a good thing. Don't get
discouraged. Keep fighting the good fight.Mile by mile, it's a trial. Yard by yard, it's hard. Inch by
inch, it's a cinch.=A0 -
Excellent attitude Richard.

I had the same problem last fall. 6 or more weeks at the
same dang weight. My leader told us today if we feel like we
have stalled, start varying your breakfasts and lunches
more. If we eat the same thing everyday the body thinks we
are on a diet and will hold on to the weight."Richard" <[email hidden]> wrote in message

banana. Sun, Tues and Thursday is eggs and a plain toast.
Saturday is oatmeal. I have the same lunch everyday. A
toasted ham and cheese sandwich.

Are you drinking your water, fruits & veggies, measuring and
weighing everything carefully, journaling, etc like you
should be?Have you taken your measurements lately? It could be you're
getting smaller but not lighter.I know that it stalls are very frustrating to deal with but
you will start losing at some point. Hang in there. -

The first time the scale shows a maintain or (gasp!) a gain
instead of a loss, a person's motivation to persevere can
really suffer. Doesn't sound like that's happening to you.
Sticking with it is the key. You're doing well so far.
Congrats on the maintain.Linda P On Sat, 27 Mar 2004 12:54:08 GMT, Richard

Maintaining is a good thing, Richard. From your stats, it
appears you have been losing roughly 2 pounds per week - a
fantastic rate of loss. It is not uncommon for the body to
take somewhat of a breather as it readjusts - then let go of
a bunch more in a week or so. Many of us noticed the same
thing happening along our journeys ... a week or two of
maintaining but the losses showing up elsewhere as things
kind of shifted around. Just keep hanging in there and
working within the program. The losses will resume again.Joyce
