Easter always marked the beginning of Spring for myself, so
I never felt driven to replicate one years meal to the next.
Some of my family's most inventive and interesting meals
were on Easter.

Here are some of my favorites.

Grilled marinated boneless leg of lamb, orzo with lemon,
thyme and artichoke hearts, greek salad and toasted pita
bread. Greek Wine and Lemonade. Farina Cake with fresh
strawberries.

Grilled marinated Chicken kebabs skewered on Rosemary stems.
Tabouli, Hummus, Baba Ganoush, Tapenade and crusty bread
grilled with olive oil and garlic. Fume Blanc and Iced
Peppermint Tea. Lemon Cream Cake with fresh strawberries.

Honeybaked Ham with miniature biscuits. An asst. of
mustards. Corn Pudding. Asparagus, lightly steamed with lemon-
thyme butter. Cole Slaw made with sweet with yellow bell
peppers. Champagne Fruit Punch and Sweet Tea. Strawberry
Shortcake.

mac & cheese as one of the side dishes. Ham is also good

A few years ago we decided to make a ham along with turkey,
last year we just made the ham with a maple syrup and
mustard glaze, mashed potatoes, salad, and some other vegies
nothing at all fancy. Probably do the same this year. I like
to make a different horsdovers though - sometimes its
devilled crab in pita [censored], sometimes just stuffed mini
pitas. Desert? I was never fussy about that - icre cream?
But this new man in my life likes his dessert so I may make
a pie. We like to have raspberry juice with ginerale for the
non drinkers.

This year I'm going against tradition and I am going to make
Barb's sweet and sour baby back ribs. A nice ceasar salad
and some mixed veggies should make up the main course. As to
dessert I'm not certain of that yet. Prolly one of those
graham cracker/pudding/whipped cream/graham crackers/milk
icing/drizzle of chocolate pan style desserts or maybe a
apple crisp.

Hi, we're doing leg of lamb, rosemary garlic honey red
pepper glaze, french beans and white sweet yams, baby greens
salad, and store bought Napoleons for desert. Happy Holiday

My post did not go through, I'm doing Lamb chops and
scalloped potatos and a baby greens salad with store bought
napoleons for tiffin, with ruby Port and Stilton on greek
bread. It seems meager(sp) Oh! the yams, I forgot the the
fruit bowl.

Oh, yes, we will dye the shells. I'm just holding the
devilled eggs out as a bribe to get someone to dye eggs with
me. They're going to have to dye them if they want me to
devil them. I have seen dyed shelled eggs. They were weird.
