Oh, I don't know. Even though "pat boone brothel creeper

The best defense to logic is ignorance

On the contrary I am certainly not against conventional
    medicine at all .

Your original post in this thread tells a different
    story, Bew.

    Quoted message said:

However I am against their belief that they have the
    answer to everything

Where has that been stated? To the contrary, conventional
medicine is criticized by many on this NG when they frankly
say they *don't* have an answer for a problem.

    Quoted message said:

and that they are the only voice we poor uneducted
    ordinary people should listen to.

Once again, not the case at all. Patients are quite often
encouraged to gather information, ask questions, & keep the
doctor informed of what they're doing so that the MD doesn't
prescribe treatment that may interact badly with what the
patient is treating the problem with. There IS sometimes
frustration on the part of MD's who see their patients
ignore all the advice, information, references, &
instructions given -- only to then complain that the doctor
is to blame when the problem continues or worsens.

    Quoted message said:

As you well know so many of the drugs you guys dispense
have their origins in natural ingredients , so the
continual put down of alternative health care , is
    laughable.

Most of the posters who criticize alternative remedies
criticize the notions that they are always safe -- don't
need to be properly labeled WRT actual dosages,
    contraindications, side effects -- & shouldn't be
researched & tested for safety & efficacy. Such concerns
show that many alt. products & treatments are recognized as
    more than Tic Tacs.

You can eat your way to health or into disease. In you are

Since when are juicers needed to stay healthy? We didn't
evolve with juicers. We evolved with teeth to eat fresh
fruit, veggies, greens and meat. We have TEETH to chew these
foods and chewing them is NATURAL. Juicers are UNNATURAL.
I'm not against juicers if someone is too lazy to chew their
food, or someone who is toothless. It's all going to the
same place anyway. Speaking for myself I would rather EAT my
meals, and not drink them. Not everyone eats junkfood and
many diseases have nothing to do with diet.

Well now, that depends on what they were suffering from. As
we all know many health issues are NOT diet related. It

and no diet is working for her. She lost 40 lbs on a low-
carb diet but then "nothing." She stuck to the diet for
months and never lost another pound. She's 60 years old and
moderately active. She has no known health problems and
isn't on any medication. What would you recommend she do?
BTW, she's like myself and doesn't eat junk foods. She

veggies back into her diet. Anything you recommend will be

never said surgery was worthless, nor did I.

Who said the surgery was worthless? The pain was over with
for years before the endo' reoccurred as I knew it would.
Endo is a chronic disease as long as a women has her ovaries
intact. That's not the Drs fault. The second surgery 8 years
later for rid of the pain and endo' for good. :-) Endo is
not diet dependent. It depends on estrogen, not food, and is
claimed to be inherited. Both my mother, and we suspect my
