The only bike I could find on the CA Tire site that matched your description is this:

and they made no mention of the "juice" front and rear shocks. Theirs has a super high quality Mercalli Ozersized Downhill fork on theirs. If yours had the Mercalli, I would be all over this like stink on rice.

Like junk sold in the US,Canada sell junk too. Mountain
bike,all my singletrack bikes are 24 or 27 speed. I do have
two 21 speed bikes with 7 speed freewheel instead of
cassettes. And when those freewheels need replacing it be a
freehub with a cassette. These bikes never ever enter do it
in the dirt world of MTB.
