  1. Hello all and congrats to all who lost or are maintaining
and hang in there to all who are not going in the direction
    they want.

My daughter joined me last week when she was home from
college for the weekend. I am excited for her and it has
also renewed my spirit for following the program. She lost
2.1 lbs her first week and I lost 2.7 this week for a total
of 37.4 lbs lost since December 30, 2000.

I had a really rough couple of years in the middle, but I
have been back on program since the introduced the
FlexPoints system and have been losing ever since.

  2. How wonderul Debbie! Tell your daughter congrats on working
her way to ww and for the fantastic first of many more to
follow losses. <G> And congrats to you too! I have noticed
you have seemed so much more focused since the first of the
year, I've been silently cheering you along and look
forward to seeing your progress every week. I am so
    thrilled for you!

  8. Thanks Joyce, I had a bit of a bump in the road a few weeks
back and had some gains for two weeks, but I am back to wear
I was about a month ago now and that makes me feel good.
Those darned Girl Scout cookies, got me the week they
arrived. I ate three boxed in 2 days and that was not a good
thing to see at the scale. I found Miss Meringues last night
at the store and bought a container of the chocolate minis.
13 for 2 points, and really chocolaty and satisfied my sweet
    tooth very well.

  9. Thanks, I will pass this on to her. I wanted her to join the
group, but she said she has too much other things to read to

Maybe I will get her to at least join the challenges.

  15. LOL! I swear, girl scout cookies are purely evil. I haven't
had a one, despite a few boxes being brought into the house.
I do admit though, I don't think they are as good as they
used to be .. and it sure wasn't easy to continue to walk
past them. There are 2 boxes of thin mints left, and not
    disappearing very quickly.

I love the miss meringues, have become my cookie of choice.
The flavor is very good and definitely satisfy my sweet
tooth. I think the only ones I didn't really care for were
the vanilla. I did try the orange, were OK but nothing
special. I stick with the very chocolate, chocolate chip
and chocolate raspberry (which I can't find anymore) ...
all in the mini-cookies. There is something much more
satisfying (to my brain) in eating 12 or 13 cookies as
    opposed to 4. <G>

  17. try looking at jewel for the choice/ras minis. I love the thin mints but
don't have a problem with them calling me as I keep them frozen. The orange

  20. Jewel is where I have been purchasing all the meringues, and
where I first found the chocolate raspberry. For the longest
time that was the only flavor we could get, other than plain
vanilla. Now they seem to not carry it at all, but have tons
of the coconut and orange, as well as the mini-chocolate
chips. So for the time being, I've moved to the mini-
chocolate chip ... at least it still has some chocolate. <G>

If you like those animal type cookies, and like chocolate
... another one to add to your Trader Joe's shopping list is
*Chocolate Cat Cookies*. They come in a plastic tub just
like the meringues, look like chocolate animal crackers -
but are cats. They are really good, 15 cookies = 100 cal/2g
    fat/1g fiber or 2 points.
