  1. Well, last week was a pleasant loss of 1.2 down to 174, and
this week is up .2 to 174.2. Not too disappointed, although
I'm a little down because this is my one year anniversary
with WW and I thought originally that I would be at my goal
by now and I'm only half-way there! I guess I should look at
the cup as half full and say that I'm 35 pounds less than I
was one year ago and a lot better looking! Also, this week I
bought two new pair of pants size 14!!! I haven't been a
size 14 in a really long time and I started out as an 18
pushing 20 when I began this journey! I even tried on and
bought (on clearance) two pair of pants that are size 12's!
I got them on, but they were a BIT uncomfortable. Just
wanted to see what they felt like, since the AVERAGE
American woman is a size 12. On another note, I am actually
looking forward to buying a swimsuit this season and will
probably actually find one that fits and I feel good in!

All in all, I am a happier me. I wish I was at goal, but we
can't always have everything we want!

    Soon enough, right??

Thanks for all your support. I've said it before and
I'll say it again, this is hands-down the greatest
    newsgroup EVER!

  2. Sounds to me like not an overall bad week, .2 gain could be
accounted for by any number of reasons. I know it is a
little disappointing to not have reached your goal by the
time you had hoped, but in the grand scheme of things it
doesn't really matter when you reach it ... just keep on
plugging along. It isn't a race, and those who lose slower
have a better chance at making those losses become a
permanent thing. And yes, you are 35 pounds lighter than
last year ... and 35 pounds lighter than had you not done
anything at all. This is fantastic!!!

Congrats on the clothing NSV's. It's so much fun needing
clothing in smaller sizes for a change. Keep those size 12's
handy, use 'em for motivation. It won't be long before
    you'll be wearing those.

I'm not sure I agree with you on looking forward to buying a
bathing suit, but more power to you. <G> I purchased a new
one last year, size 12 ... have a feeling I better drag it
out and try it on, will more than likely be looking for
another one this year. I hate shopping, let alone for a
    swimsuit. LOL
