race specific position

  1. So I was doing some reading about position and power and effiency. So as far as I can tell lower and more forward is better for a sprinting and power. higher up and further back is more effiecent for distance. I was just wondering if any of you out there change your position on the bike (seat height, bars, stem length. etc.) for different races? Say a Criterium one weekend and a road race the next.

  2. I've got one bike and do both TTs and road races. So, for TTs, the seat goes forward 10mm and up 2-3mm, the stem gets changed so the bar is lower and the aero bars go on. And re-position the computer and HRM and . . .

    Maybe, next year I'll buy another bike to save all the mucking around!
