  1. I think I mentioned recently that I have purchased a 2003
model Bacchetta Aero via e-bay this past week and feel I
got a terrific deal on his bike. It currently is in
transit to Houston, TX from Green Bay, WI and I expect it
late this week or early next. Now comes the important
part, getting the bike built and fitted to me correctly.
Can anyone recommend a bike shop in Houston, TX capable of
putting the bike together for me so that I can begin to
experience the bent lifestyle and, hopefully, use it to
    ride next months MS150.

    Thanks for any help

Planetary Cycles, sells Bacchetta but they won't be cheap.

Then there's Southwest Schwinn at Fondren. More reasonable.
Call SW Schwinn and speak with Bob McGowan. Ask to have
Arturo do the work. You can tell Bob that I gave the
    recommendation.

I had hoped to use Planetary Cycles for this very purpose,
but had such a bad experience with them Tuesday evening that
I'll not return to the store, even for an emergency. I had
gone in, and this was my first visit, to pick up a couple of
tubes for my Giant Iguana Mtn. Bike, and to inquire about
them construction my AERO upon its arrival to Houston. I was
also picking up a new saddle for my Trek 2120, and some
patches to repair flats. I basically had my arms full. For
some reason, I could not get anyone to wait on me to take my
money for the items I had in my arms. Oh sure, I had a
couple of "be with you in a sec" comments. Both times found
me ignored. One person went back behind the counter and
began working on a cycle, the other instance the person who
had just told me "just a sec", waited on the next person who
came in the store. So, with an introduction like that, I
just put the products down on the floor and walked out. I'll
not go back after such thoughtless, abusive behaviour.

But I apppreciate the suggestion. I'll call Southwest
Schwinn in the a.m. and inquire about them building my Bent
    when it gets here.

    Thanks Cletus...
