  1. I am very much a newbie to the cycling world and just bought a pair of specialized road shoes with SPD cleats. I have no idea how to adjust them. All I want to do is move them back a bit. Any help (especially pictures) out there?

    Its kindof counter-intuitive. If what I think your asking is true, that you want to move your foot farther back on the pedal, here's what you do... you actually need to readjust the cleat so that it is farther forward on your shoe. That is, if you want your foot to be farther back on the pedal when you actually have your foot in the pedal.

    Don't worry about asking new questions. A lot of that stuff you're doing is just trial and error. You're going to screw up some when adjusting your cleats and it will take a lot of time at first, but it will be well worth the effort.
