  1. I have a one night stop over in Los Angeles next week and wondered whether there might be any good bike shops worth visiting in the Santa Monica area? I LOVE looking at (and buying) new products, gadgets, jerseys etc.

    Thanks

  2. Supergo should still be off of Broadway. They aren't the LBS -- especially since Performance bought the chain -- but they do carry some cool stuff....

Here's a link for ya'. No charge! http://tinyurl.com/2sjcl

You should also try Helen's Cycles - http://www.helenscycles.com/
Another bike shop just 10 minutes south is Circle Cycle - http://www.circlecycle.com/

I happen to like Supergo (as long as I remember to only pay attention to about half of what the salespeople say....).

Just drawing the distinction between chain store and independently owned Local Bike Shop (LBS).

Helen's and Circle _sound_ more like _local_ bike shops.

    Best,

    Neil
