Morning comes around... I take off the gauze (which is soaked through) and as soon as the biggest
cut is exposed it starts back to bleeding. Grr. Well... gotta go to work. Bandaged it up again and
now here I am at work. I'll check it again when I get home, if it still looks like it needs
attention than off I go for some stitches. I think it'll be ok without

them.

Shinguards, my friend, shinguards...I wouldn't think to take my trials bike out without
donning my set...

Urban assault is great fun!

However, be careful around utility stuff. Poles, boxes, etc... can become electrically hot if
several conditions all go wrong at once. I work for a phone company (one of the big 4), and in my 18
years here we've lost 5 people to hot boxes and poles. Techs even carry a special probe to measure
voltage on the surface of the object before they touch
it. The 5 that died failed to use it before they reached out and touched it. 8^(

Chances are, you'll never encounter a problem, but the first will probably kill you.

That had crossed my mind but I figured it would be safe since it was on the side the street on a
public corner with no fence around it...

you can only get stitches straight after the accident, after than the skin starts to die off and is unstitchable.

I did a similiar accident which took 2 months to fully heal but hey....chix dig scars!😄

They came on the Monty. Listed as VP Components. I think they're just generic-ish pedals. Been
thinking of replacing them with something lighter, along with the bars I got on it.
