  1. We just bought a used treadmill...looks pretty new..but, it is squeaking. If we keep our foot down
    too long it makes an awful squawking noise...is that something we are doing? Does it take time to
    "learn" to walk on a treadmill? I tightened the treadmill belt..but, it still "squawks" some..not as
    bad...should I tighten further. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

    I don't own a treadmill, so this could be way off base, but I do know some treadmills require
    lubrication under the belt. Check the owners manual if you got it, or do an internet search for your
    make and model to see if this may be required.
