Frame measuring

    Could anyone please tell me the correct way to measure a frame? I have measured my seat tube and
    it's only 51 cm from the bottom bracket to the seat and for my height this should be too small - am
    I measuring it correctly? Thanks,

    Parallel to the seat tube, from the centre of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat tube (not
    seat post) usually. But note that some people measure to the centre of the top tube where it abuts
    the seat tube, and some measure to the top of the top tube where it abuts, so it isn't precise.
