A good place to start is www.weightwatchers.com. Try to
think of this as a lifestyle change instead of a diet.
It does take work and you do have a large amount of
support. The first step is to get involved with a local
meeting or on-line.
Good Luck and Congratulations on your decision....

Our newbie welcome notice, which contains a lot of useful
information about WeightWatchers, is posted frequently.
Julie posted it today, in fact. If you can't find it by
scrolling through the headers, try searching for it in
Google groups. weightwatchers.comweightwatchers.comOpen ↗ is also an
excellent source of information. Welcome and good luck.
