Does the Chain Tattoo Count? Not permanent but always there after a ride 😄
Besides the many traditionally aquired tats I have I also have some cycling specific "tats." I have some cool looking scars on my knees, shins, and forearms that I wear with as much pride as my ink. I figured they, typically, hurt about as much as getting a tattoo so why not be proud of them (please catch the sarcasm). Now that the ink is "trickling" down the arms and legs I make myself wear some armor/protection more often than not. With a crazy mistress like the mtb a little protection is probably a good idea I guess. Ride on.

I'm wondering who either has tatoos or wants tattoos or cycling. I myself have an unnumberable number of tats. My left arm is about 75% covered, plus I have one on my back and one on my stomach. As for cycling tats, on my left arm I have 2 double-helix style chains circling my forearm. I get a lot of comments on my tats at the races and from people off the street. I love my body art. Anyway lets see who has 'em.
Always wanted one, but could never decide what I 'would wear for life'. More than likely will never happen...
G'day,
I invariably end up with an oil 'big ring' tatt on my right calf after training....does that count?.....
I remember there used to be a Fitroy Footballer (AFL) called Les Parish that was absolutely covered in tatts....the fans nicknamed him 'Walt' after walt disney,
cheers,
Hitchy
I have 6 dragons on various parts of my body, the 6 combined give me about 25% coverage of my body. Working on the design for my 7th right now, a back piece that will cover about 50% of my back.
Show us some pics then.
I'll have my wife take some pics this weekend and post em up.
I've got a Celtic weave design on my right bicep.
have excema : can´t have them so of course .................
I'm going to get one when I turn 80 - that way if I regret it for the rest of my life it won't really be that long.

cool. i'd like that. but it would have to be something small.
why small? Inside of the bicep is a tender spot though so be ready for it.

well, i'm small to begin with. i'd probably put it on or near my midriff anyhow, just peeking out from the hip....

I'll tell you what, the tat on my stomach was the worst pain that i have ever felt. Even more than that 4 hour interval session that took me half way to san francisco, when i still lived in cali. I can attest to the inside of the bicep being painful, that hurt a bit too. if you want to try something fun, get one over your tendon on your forearm. It just vibrates and it's really fun. 😄
I rather have tattos then a piercing. but it is hard to justify the cost. there are other things I need more and can't afford.

It's beyond me why *anyone* would want to deface their body with a tatto.
Its not defacement .. its art.
