That is interesting but it is not overly usefull out of context like that. I would be interested in comparing this data with obesity trends as well as what percent of the carbs are sugars and high fructose corn syrup and other refined carbs.

Accodring to my data. Heart related death was outside of the "top 4 killer disease in Japan".
Obesity doesnt seem to have gone up, it actually looks like it went down. I will post this later
I will post a bit later. Data seems very interesing.
Would be even more interesting if it were up-to-date. There have been dramatic changes in the past 20 years.
