    Went to pick up my daughter from school today.

    On the footpath @ the front gate (not pavement, pedestrian access past the school, no roadway) I had
    to jump out of the way as a guy on a bike travelling at 15mph plus(??) hurtled toward me. He had
    come through the staggered gates at the far and and accelerated full tilt.

    [censored]!

    Oh, and he did have a helmet on. And he completely ignored my request to slow down. Next time I'll
    shoulder charge him on the way past.

    The rider may not decelerate quite as fast as the bike! And the helmet may help him to slide further
    along the pavement. Bill

    Not sure the general public would see the difference! It just adds to the "all cyclists don't obey the laws, have lights at night etc..."

    Maybe it does need "Next time I'll shoulder charge him on the way past".
