Since cancer afflicts 25% or more of the earth's population and about a half of these die from it
with present treatment methods, it is of intense interest to all to know whether "alternative"
treatments work for cancer. Not only that, but their promorters are often charging huge sums of
money for their treatments. It is no longer good enough to have them promoted with misleading testimonials like most of these.
Neither of two primary breast cancer patients had biopsies, and when it is known how common benign
breast lumps and cysts are, and how common it is for them to come and go of their own accord, such
testimonials are useless. Of course a dentist would not know this, and would be quite happy to go on
believing he has cured yet another cancer.Other patients received conventional treatment such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy which could
have explained benefits.Kelley's own testimonial is an example of a general standard. It contains a number of ridiculous
statements about cancer (e.g. that it commonly causes herniae), he also had no biopsies, and his
symptoms could well have been explained by the severe depression he had at the time.Peter Moran

*It is the nature of the Medical Establishment to say, "These Cancer cases did not have Cancer and
that is why they are still alive and cancer free." However many of these patients were diagnosed by
biopsy at the most prestigious institutions in the United States and Canada. Furthermore, in 1985,
the actual Biopsy Slides were reviewed and confirmed by the renowned Pathologist Dr. Robert A. Good,
Ph.D., former President of the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center of New York City. The Medical Establishment often accuses their enemy of doing exactly what they themselves do: Lie,
deceive, and cover up. The media then screams it so loud and long that many of the gullible finally
believe it to be true without any proof whatsoever. However, in the case of my patients, the
Establishment cannot do this. This frustrates them to no end, and they have devised many ways to
destroy and discredit the Cancer Heroes. Nowhere in the Orthodox or Alternative Medical Communities
are so many Cancer Heroes truly documented with such long Cancer-free life spans.*Thanks for proving this true, Peter.

Just curious...where is the PROOF that Dr. Good ever reviewed & confirned these slides? Is this a
known fact? Or shall we rely on hear-say? Surely if this declarative statement is made, there must
be some written material acknowledging this deed. Why was it left out of this on-line article if it
exists? Little too late to ask the man himself personally as he apparently retired fom Sloan-
Kettering in 1985 & moved to Florida immediately thereafter & died in 2002 or 3. -
Forgot to add, though only anecdotal, that Dr. Good died of cancer (esophagal), per his family. I
guess even he, as former head of Sloan-Kettering & with all his contacts, didn't have the
combination to the safe where the drug cartel keeps their secret "cancer cure". -

not say "Fine, thanks" when someone asks "How do you do?". We^H^HThey always say "Good".--

When even a percentage of the testimonials are worthless, it raises doubts about the rest. For
example, since cancer patients typically use many different alternative treatments at once, how can
we be sure that it was Kelley's treatment that worked, in self-promotional testimonials like these?Quacks like Kelley, who have treated hundreds and hundreds of patients and promote their treatment
with tales of such as these supposed breast cancers diappearing, should be able to procude dozens of
well-documented case histories of proven cancer disappearing with their treatment. Why is it that
they cannot do so for the NCCAM?As I have often pointed out before, and am trying to once again, the issues are far too important to
be dependent upon vague and inconclusive data. Reading what Kelley himself says about his own
"cancer experience" makes one very doubtful of his personal reliability.Peter Moran

Peter I personally have never tried Kellys methods, but my wifes grandmother did. She went through
the radiation treatments for breast cancer, but the Mets were found to have spread into the upper
torso. This was back in the early 1960s. She went on the Kelly plan and lived another 20 years. It
does appear Kelly throws a brick to kill a fly with all his concoctions and lifestyle changes, but
they did work in her case. I'm sure you know there are many forms of cancer, and some respond well
to modern methods, but those nasty large cell cancers don't. I would like to see some some results
from Kellys treatment against these nasty forms of cancer. My father in law died 2 years ago from
squamus cell cancer that started in his jaw under a bad tooth. He went with surgery/chemo and died 4
monthes later. My mother was diagnosed with limphocarsinoma 24 years ago and given a 5% chance of
success that chemo would bring about a remission period. We went with the chemo, but also used some
of Kellys methods, and some organic gardening ideas. She has been cancer free for the past 24 years,
but has suffered the effects from chemo. Congestive heart fallure, and is now in the last stages at
age 76. The sad thing is, because she is cancer free a oncologist a few years ago said she must have
been misdiagnosed. There was no misdiagnosis at the time, but it seems the medical community turns a
blind eye to there real successes if they don't fall into a pattern they recognize. Yes I believe
Kelly had success with his methods, but I also believe that some cancers will be 100% resistant to
his methods. Personally I'll have my coffee in a cup insted his method. -

Furthermore, by eschewing the cure, Dr Good inspire the present and future generations of cancer-
cure suppressors to live up to his selfless example. -

Yes, this is the kind of teasing "information" that cancer sufferers are confronted with.
Suggestive, but without documentation, the ability to review old films and pathology slides and old
records to ensure that all the facts are as you have been told, and that no other treatments applied
could explain the outcomes.I also have to say that this is your version of what you have been told by third parties, and
patients and their families frequently do misinterpret or misunderstand what doctors actually have
stated, or the confidence with which diagnoses are actually held. I have even had new patients tell
me they have had cancer and found this not to be true on chasing up their records. You will understand my point that a cancer sufferer trying to decide which of about six dozen
alternative methods might actually save their life deserves somewhat more concrete data than this.
They all have equivalent support from testimonial like this.Cancer quacks get away with murder from all ethical and scientific standpoints simply becasue
desperate people will try anything that might work, and the standards that they have set have become
accepted as the norm without question or criticism within alternative medicine.Peter Moran.

Peter I failed to mention my wife's grandmother did die from cancer, but 20 years latter. The
conclusion I draw from this is not a cure issue, but a long remission period with a extended quality
of life period. If the Kelly camp people claimed to extend the quality of life remission period
rather than extolling a cure I could except that. The quality of life, and remission period are the real issues. If the Kelly people would produce a
larger number of cases of the same type of cancer (biopsies cases) so that the rest of us could see
a real extension in survival time, even if it only showed a month or 2. That would give tangible
value to what they are selling. Maybe I'm asking to much."Peter Moran" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:402aae72$0$894$61c65585@uq-127creek-reader-
