This FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) does provide some truthful answers (there is a fake FAQ put out by detractors that is useful only for comparison purposes) . All answers given herein can be independently verified either via Google or by visiting http://www.heartmdphd.com/. The FAQ is arranged in typical FAQ form, i.e. a series of questions followed by simple answers. For those who don't wish to read the whole FAQ, the following summary is provided. Summary ------- Dr. Chung is a well-respected licensed cardiologist, who is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiology (cardiovascular medicine). In this capacity, he responds truthfully to medical questions on s.m.c. He does this out of sincere altruism when he has spare time outside his private cardiology practice, where he sees patients as a cardiologist. If that was all he were, there would probably be no controversy. Introduction

New people arriving in sci.med.cardiology (s.m.c.) are often puzzled and troubled by the vitriol
directed at Dr. Andrew B. Chung, MD/PhD (Dr. Chung) and want to better understand the reasons for
the hatred that some folks have for Dr. Chung. This FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) does provide
some truthful answers (there is a fake FAQ put out by detractors that is useful only for comparison
purposes) . All answers given herein can be independently verified either via Google or by visiting

The FAQ is arranged in typical FAQ form, i.e. a series of questions followed by simple answers. For

Dr. Chung is a well-respected licensed cardiologist, who is board-certified in internal medicine and
cardiology (cardiovascular medicine). In this capacity, he responds truthfully to medical
questions on s.m.c. He does this out of sincere altruism when he has spare time outside his
private cardiology practice, where he sees patients as a cardiologist. If that was all he were,
there would probably be no controversy.
The controversy arises from Dr. Chung being a genuine Christian, in particular:

Here's an idea: why don't you write some fake, softball requests for medical advice that you can
"altruistically" respond to? Then you can praise yourself for that too. Humbly, of course.
See, Chung, here's what you don't get: the only thing that could possibly distinguish you from "Joe
Blow" on Usenet is professionalism... without that, you're just another kook. Every time you make up
one of these fake posts or go off on one of your rants, or modify what someone else has said in a
post, you undermine that.
I have given you the secret to respectability as an "altruistic" gesture... but I am confident that
you will not be able to capitalize on it because I am confident that like a lemming you are driven
to jump off cliffs :-)

Here's an idea: why don't you write some fake, softball requests for medical advice that you can
"altruistically" respond to? Then you can praise yourself for that too. Humbly, of course.
See, Chung, here's what you don't get: the only thing that could possibly distinguish you from
"Joe Blow" on Usenet is professionalism... without that, you're just another kook. Every time you
make up one of these fake posts or go off on one of your rants, or modify what someone else has
said in a post, you undermine that.
I have given you the secret to respectability as an "altruistic" gesture... but I am confident
that you will not be able to capitalize on it because I am confident that like a lemming you are
driven to jump off cliffs :-)

English. Even if you don't, it's still plural. You go to school with Chung?
Socks is short for sockpuppets. They're generally seen as false identities used to promote some
agenda or further some lunacy. Like Chung's. With Pizza Girl and you. The two of you were born in
February, 2004 on usenet. With wonderfully anonymous addresses. What an astonishing coincidence,
don't you think?

Let's clear it up once and for all I hope. I have no affiliation or alliance with Dr Chung or
Pizza Girl what so ever, my comments are mine and mine alone and have not been influenced by
either party. The fact that Pizza Girl and myself come to this group around the same time is
merely coincident. As to being anonymous, for those people that do know me I am known as "Cappy"
and my Hotmail account is valid. Cappy
