  1. I know some of you have had to deal with this at one time or another. Well, looks like it's my turn
    . . . damn!!!

Looking for help on what to do. I know, I know, I'll be seeing my sports medicine doctor in a few
weeks, so I'll definitely ask him. But I wanted to ask the group what methods you've used to
    overcome the soreness.

Rest? Done. I ain't running if it hurts! :-) Ice? Wrap? Ibuprofin? Stretching? Are there specific
types for this condition? Anything else?

BTW - I have a new pair of New Balance 1221's that feel great.

    Thanks.

    Roll the Quads, Tom.

Loosen the quads and you'll release excess and unnecessary stress on your patellar tendons.

Let us know how it goes.

  3. In addition, you may try some basic weight work for your legs:

1-leg press drop squats 1-leg squats with hand wts. lunges with hand wts.

quad strength + balance = knee stability

I had this cycling, and it took a good while to get rid of, so you may have to be patient.

    Good luck.
