  1. What do you consider to be a reasonable weight loss for a one month period? Just curious what the
average is here. For a female, considering men lose much faster! Bird need to lose 45#

  2. WW suggests 1 to 2 pounds a week as a good approximation. But everyone varies. And as folks get
closer to goal or even in the middle they may slow down.

  3. O think that depends on how close you are to goal. At 100 pounds away, I would expect at least 3
pounds a week, But when you are less than 10 from goal, I would be happy with 1/2 pound - at that
stage, any loss would be acceptable. Elaine K

  4. as long as I lose something I am happy, even if it is a half pound for the
whole month, I would of course prefer more but I am just still pretty happy
to not be gaining anymore, Lee

4-8 lbs a month. I lose closer to 1 (okay when you average it out I lose exactly 1).

  6. I averaged at 0.3kg/week (0.7lbs/week). Not fast, but consistent, and it
    got me to goal 🙂

  7. This answer is going to vary immensely depending on how overweight each individual person is. It was
easy for me to lose 1-2 pounds per week when I was close to 100 pounds overweight. That gradually
decreased over time to 1/2 - 1 pound per week and as I got to the last 10 pounds or so I was
thrilled to see ounces go! I used to think 10 pounds a month was reasonable (before I ever tried to
lose it all). Now I think closer to 5 pounds per month is more realistic.

  8. One to two pounds per week is reasonable, so in a month possibly 8 pounds.

  9. My feelings exactly, I don't feel like I've lost anything much at all for a few months but looking
back, I've actually lost about 10-12lb since the end of august (when life went all complicated on
me). The last five months I've average a 2lb loss and I am more than happy with that. In reality
I've lost the same five pounds over and again about 4 times but over all I'm down. I'm back on track
now (with a temporary wobble last week) and hoping to continue on down and down.
