Today i had lunch at a Middle Eastern restaurant in one of the nearby communities....I got something that i swore was called seleek, made with collard greens and black eyes peas, sauteed together with somesort of oil....it was really good and i wanted to find some recipes for it....
when I plugged seleek into google, what I got was a lamb and rice dish that was NOT any resemblance to what I ate.....
does anyone have any clues about the name of the dish i had or maybe even a recipe I could look at...thanks....LG

Since the restaurant was nearby, why don't you just stop by there with a paper and pen and copy the name of the dish off the menu, or call there to see if anyone will give you the info over the phone?

Sounds more like a Southern US dish than any Indian dish. Perhaps it was spinach?
