Hi all Someone with an IP address of between: 68.16.l0.0.7 > 68.19.255.255 is trying to hack into my
computer. These attacks started not long after I began posting to this NG. This is the same IP
address range that MU is currently using, also it is from Bellsouth.net in Atlanta. Also of
interest, Dr Chung resides (works) in Atlanta, any connection? We know that they Google for dirt, do
they hack into personal computers as well? I have sent information from my tracer to Bellsouth in
the hope that they will be able to find this undesirable person(s) and hopefully kick his somewhat
swollen [censored]. I urge anyone else that is getting attacked from this IP range to contact Bellsouth on
[email hidden] and report them. I have received mail from Bellsouth saying that they take this
matter seriously and are looking into it. If you have noticed any personal info about yourself being
used on this NG (or any other that you subscribe to) it may well be the product of a hacker. Hacking
into someone's computer is illegal and punishable by law.

Don't count on it! My proxy server was hacked a few years ago and my name forged by one of these
henchmen that hangs out here and AST.Running his own domain name can give a lot of records that just happen to be not found.
He rents space from mindspring.com.

68.16.l0.0.7 > 68.19.255.255
Since posting I have received personal mail from people who claim that after posting on SMC the
level of attacks on their computer increased substancially. In all cases these attacks started after
they commented on OT discussions. The same happened to me, I was getting attacked repeatedly all the
time I was logged on, this ONLY started after posting to SMC. Interestingly enough since reporting
the perperators and more so since I reported the happenings to this NG these attacks have all but
stopped and none have been from within the IP range reported, I will leave it to you to form you own
opinion on that. If you are getting attacked report them to their ISP and keep a log of their IP
address. If you suspect that the perpertrator is someone(s) from this group keep a record of their
IP address everytime they log on and cross referance them with your attackers IP, they just may slip
up. If the perpertrator(s) do subscribe to this NG, knowing that we will be doing this should be
enough to stop it.Get you friends and family involved, have them monitor at different times, you may know someone with
the abilty to trace these people, if you do, use them, but keep it legal. Do this and you will see
an immediate drop in the activity of your internet security program. This a call to arms people, sit
on the fence and you WILL be attacked.Feel free to mail me: [email hidden]
