Last night, feeling adventurous, I decided to try making beef stroganoff with Steakumms. Don't know
if this has been tried before, but it turned out to be quite tasty.
Here's what you need:
Box of Steakumms (7 steaks) 5-6 slices of center cut bacon, chopped bunch of scallions, chopped
1/4 cup red wine
2/4 sour cream 1 can of cream of chicken soup parsley vegetable oil Egg Noodles or Rice (I used the
egg noodles)
Prepare noodles or rice per package directions and set aside.
Heat a large frying pan with 2-3 Tbsp of oil, get it hot. Fry up the bacon till its almost done,
then add the Steakumms and scallions and cook for 1 minute, then flip the Steakumms over and cook
another thirty seconds. Remove the meats and onions to a separate container and keep 'em warm.
Drain the excess oil and bacon fat from the pan. Pour in the wine and let it simmer for a minute.
Add the can of cream of chicken soup and mix thoroughly. Bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat, add
the meats and onions back into the pan. Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Add the sour cream and mix well just before serving. Pour mixture over the noodles or rice
and serve.
