Hi, Does anyone know what those thin smooth long green beans commonly sold in Italy are by any other
name than 'bobby beans'?
Thanks, Loki

Italian flat beans? Anyway, that's what we always called them.

Haven't heard that name, I suspect that's a US name only. All I know is they aren't hairy like other
french beans. Unfortunately I probably need to know the latin name because I want the seeds to grow
some. They are much nicer than any other green bean I've eaten.
