I developed gout a while ago. Now that it has subsided somewhat I realize I might have CFS. Could
this be from sleeping with your clothes on, especially from not changing clothes everyday? Since I
don't sweat during cold months, and live alone, I have developed this habit. Also drank coffee for
several years and very little juice, eaten foods lke submarines, pizza, cookies (even sugar- and fat-
free) and drinking flavored water. Being a few months short of fifty, I recently turned on my space
heater a few days before New Years sincde there was no snow on the ground until the day before Xmas.
I don't have a bed, so I sleep on living room floor this way: pad on rug, sleep on my back on pad,
feet covered with fleece sleeping bag, comforter on my body, then another sleeping bag on the
comforter. There is a slight draft coming from wall where windows face outside. Have many books and
magazines in both cardboard and Rubbermaid storage boxes around. Could this accumulation be
contributing to my problem? Space heater is set low, maybe should be higher(?) I take a shower only
once every several days due to the cold weather.
