  1. I cycled onto a deserted pavement in order to let a bus past that was behind me, carrying lots of
people. Does this make me a bad man(tm) ?

I enjoyed my cycle to work today. It's all hills and I'm very unfit, but I only required one very
    short rest 🙂

I don't like hellfire, and you get seasick.

Cycling on the pavement AND showing consideration to buses? You're going to Jeremy Clarkson hell,
I'm afraid. Now, if, you'd ploughed into a bus queue in order to get out of the way of a driver
speeding on his 300 yard journey to pick up his D***y M**l, all would be fine and proper.

Yes. You are a Bad Man and run a bad railway.

Say ten "Hail Clarksons" and we'll let it pass.

    THIS time.

Had a bus driver revving his engine and hooting at me this morning on Oxford Street - despite there
being less than 5m between me and the bus in front that stopped at traffic lights 10 seconds later.
    I just ignored him.

Also had a driver completely not see me at a mini roundabout this morning despite me shouting and
gesticulating in her direction. She was completely oblivious. Almost gave chase but couldn't be
    bothered. Wish I had now.

There are some crazy people about.

You should dismount before using the pavement!

No, you will be recognised as a decent human being and will either secure your place in heaven or
avoid coming back as a frog in the next life depending on which religion is telling the truth.

Ah a Zen koan. If a man cycles on the pavement and there is no one around to see is it
    still illegal?

    Tony ;-)

    Dunno but it *sounds* bad.
