As a retired reprobate and occasional poster, I am off to the lake district shortly. I intend to do
a 72 hour walk in the lake district, wild camping and squirrel munching being the order of the day.
I would like to know if anyone has any ideas of a good route march type of jobby, where I can work
out my agression [house full of women {wife and three daughters} (love them to bits but as a man
find them hard to comprehend)] and beer gut.
I travel 'lightish' although my decrepit military equipment probably weighs in at more than double
the averages I see around here.
As an aside and perhaps 'rifleman' might help here, do any of you carry heavy stuff that you are
comfortable with and have been using for years, rather than a better and lighter modern
alternative? [1]
