Is it really that difficult to design a decent indoor training setup that doesnt leave you feeling like youre trapped in a sauna, or are people just not trying hard enough. I mean, seriously, were talking about a stationary bike in a room, not exactly rocket science, yet it seems like nobody can get it right.
Ive seen people using those flimsy plastic fans that just blow hot air around, or worse, nothing at all, expecting riders to just magically stay cool while theyre grinding away. And dont even get me started on those silly cooling towels that are supposed to make a difference, but really just end up being a soggy mess.
Its not like were asking for much, just a simple way to stay cool and comfortable while were putting in the hard yards on the trainer. Is that really too much to ask. Apparently so, given the lack of decent solutions out there.
Ive seen some people using those fancy-schmancy air conditioning units that are supposed to keep you cool, but lets be real, those things are expensive and not exactly practical for the average rider. And what about those silly misting systems that are supposed to keep you cool, but really just end up making a mess.
Its time for someone to step up and design a decent indoor training setup that actually works. Something that will keep riders cool and comfortable, without breaking the bank or requiring a degree in engineering to set up. Is that really too much to ask.
