Whats the most effective high-intensity Zwift workout for simulating the demands of a WorldTour-level criterium, and can anyone truly claim to be pushing themselves to their limits if theyre not completing at least 3-4 of these sessions per week.
It seems like every other rider on Zwift is claiming to be a serious cyclist, but when you look at their workout history, theyre barely scratching the surface of what it takes to be competitive at the top level. Id love to see some examples of workouts that actually push riders to their limits, rather than just the same old steady-state rides that everyone seems to be doing.
Specifically, Im looking for workouts that incorporate a mix of high-intensity interval training, sprint efforts, and sustained climbs - the kind of thing that would leave even the fittest riders gasping for air. And lets be real, if youre not willing to put in the time and effort to complete these kinds of workouts on a regular basis, can you really claim to be a serious cyclist.
Ive seen some riders posting about their grueling 2-hour endurance rides, but lets be honest, thats not even close to what the pros are doing. If you want to be competitive, you need to be willing to push yourself to the limit, and that means doing workouts that are truly brutal.
So, what are some of the most effective high-intensity Zwift workouts out there, and whos actually doing them on a regular basis.
