  1. I have a problem.My computer does not have a COM1 port, only spare USB ports, printer ( 25 pin ),
    and 6 pin i LINK tm port are available.

    How can I connect my gps to my pc?

    Any bright ideas anyone ,please.

    You can get a serial to USB cable from Dabs. See
    dabs.comproductView.htm

    That may do the trick...

    That may do the trick...

    There are several USB-Serial converters available but in my experience the best one is the FTDI one.
    I've used the Keyspan and Prolific ones too but they seemed to be compatible with fewer devices.
