  1. Hi,

Does anyone out there have any experience of using a food dehydrator (like the ezidri or similar)

    Are they any good?

Can you make something like a bolognaise or a chilli and dry that?

    Thanks,

    Jay

    Hi

Couple of sites (groups) worth checking out:

They can work very well but the drying takes time and they take up space. Best used for dried fruit
(strawberries, bananas and apples are delicious), mushrooms and other vegetables. Some people make
pasta and dried meat (i.e. biltong). Never heard of anyone drying food a la Vesta. Hard to see how
that could work. Better of buying a pot noodle.
