A recent (last few months) magazine had a multiple boot/approach shoe review which inlcuded an
approach shoe with, as far as I recall, extremely good sticky rubber soles which also worked well in
the wet. I saved this mag somewhere so safe I can't find it!
Can anyone recall this review? Can anyone recall which shoe was the DB's as far as sticky rubber
was concerned? Does anyone have any firm opinions about which approach shoes have the best
sticky rubber?
I'm after an approximation to the kind of rubber climbing shoes have, the kind they use on
artificial indoor rock walls, but one of my feet is too old for that kind of painfully cramped shoe
style. So I'm after that kind of rubber in something more comfortable that I could scramble in, but
which wouldn't disgrace itself on climbing walls.
