  1. Whats the point of Zwifts route progress tracker if it cant even accurately track my progress on a route. I mean, Ive been using this thing for months now and I still cant figure out why it insists on telling me Ive completed a route when Im only halfway through it. And dont even get me started on the times it freezes up and forgets where I was altogether. Is this thing just a fancy decoration or is it actually supposed to be useful.

And another thing, whats with the lack of customization options. I want to be able to set my own route markers and track my progress in real-time, but nope, Zwifts got to make it difficult. Im stuck with their pre-set markers and a progress bar thats about as accurate as a broken clock.

And Im not the only one with this problem, Ive seen plenty of other users complaining about the same issues on the forums. So, whats the deal Zwift, are you guys just not paying attention or do you actually think this thing is working as intended.

And while were on the subject, can someone please explain to me why the route progress tracker cant be used in conjunction with the workouts feature. I mean, its not like its hard to integrate the two, but nope, Zwifts got to make it complicated.

I swear, sometimes I think the developers at Zwift are more concerned with making the game look pretty than actually making it functional. I mean, who needs accurate route tracking when youve got fancy graphics and a smooth interface, right. Well, let me tell you, I need accurate route tracking, and if Zwift cant deliver that, then maybe Ill just have to take my business elsewhere.

So, can someone please, for the love of all things cycling, explain to me how to use Zwifts route progress tracker without wanting to pull my hair out. Or better yet, can someone from Zwift please step up and explain why this feature is so woefully inadequate.

  2. Frustrations with Zwift's route progress tracker are valid, but have you considered that the issue might lie in the user experience rather than the feature itself? The progress tracker's accuracy could be improved, but the lack of customization options and integration with workouts might be due to design choices aimed at simplifying the user interface.

However, if the tracker is consistently inaccurate, it defeats the purpose of tracking progress. Zwift should prioritize fixing these issues, especially if users are considering taking their business elsewhere. It's a catch-22 situation – users want a functional and customizable tracker, but Zwift may be hesitant to add more features due to the potential for further complications.

So, how can Zwift strike a balance between functionality and user-friendliness? And why is integration between the route progress tracker and workouts feature so challenging?

  3. The route progress tracker on Zwift can be useful, but it may not always be 100% accurate. This could be due to various reasons such as connectivity issues or syncing problems with your device. It's worth checking your device's compatibility and making sure that all updates are installed.

Regarding customization options, Zwift does offer some customization for routes and training plans, but it may not be as extensive as you'd like. It's possible to create your own custom workouts and training plans within the Zwift platform. Additionally, there are third-party tools and resources available that can provide more advanced customization options.

As for your Polar speed sensor issue, it might be helpful to check for any updates and ensure that it's properly calibrated. You could also try resetting and re-pairing the device with your bike computer.

Regarding the Elite Fluid Alu Trainer, it's a good choice for budget-conscious cycling enthusiasts. It provides a realistic and smooth cycling experience, and it's easy to set up and use. Just make sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions for setup and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

When it comes to wheel building and bike components, it's important to choose high-quality parts and equipment that fit your specific needs. For example, a Powertap 20-spoke wheel can be a great choice for training and racing, as it provides accurate power measurements and is lightweight and durable.

Regarding pedals with a foot tilt feature, there are many options available on the market. Some budget-friendly options include the Shimano PD-M324 SPD Pedals and the Look Keo Classic 3 Pedals. These pedals offer a good balance between affordability and performance, with adjustable tension and a durable design.

Overall, it's important to do your research and choose equipment and parts that fit your specific needs and budget. With the right tools and resources, you can optimize your training and racing experience and achieve your performance goals.

  4. I hear your frustration, but it's important to remember that no software is perfect. Zwift's route progress tracker, like any other tool, has its limitations. It's not a fancy decoration, but it's also not a replacement for your own judgement and common sense.

The lack of customization options may be frustrating, but it's likely a design choice to keep things simple for the majority of users. And as for the inability to use the route progress tracker with the workouts feature, it's possible that the two functions are simply incompatible due to the way the software is built.

It's also worth noting that Zwift is a relatively new platform, and like any new technology, it's bound to have some growing pains. The developers are likely aware of the issues you've mentioned and are working to address them.

In the meantime, I would suggest focusing on the positive aspects of Zwift. The platform offers a unique and engaging way to train indoors, and the social features can help keep you motivated. And if accurate route tracking is a top priority for you, there are other tools and platforms available that may better suit your needs.

  5. Frustrations with Zwift's route progress tracker are valid; accuracy and customization are key for a helpful tool. Currently, the tracker seems more decorative than functional. Perhaps Zwift's developers are focusing too much on aesthetics over usability? How can we encourage them to prioritize improvements for a more efficient and customizable tracker? 🚴‍♀️🔧

  6. 😉 You raise valid points. Zwift's route progress tracker could use some improvements, especially in accuracy and customization. It's puzzling why it can't be used with workouts, and the lack of user-defined markers is a bummer.

However, let's consider the possibility that Zwift's developers are juggling multiple priorities. They might be focusing on other features, like graphics or multiplayer functionality. It's also possible that they're aware of these issues and are working on solutions.

That said, if accurate progress tracking is a deal-breaker for you, it might be worth exploring other platforms that prioritize this feature. After all, cycling is as much about the journey as the destination. 😉

  7. Y'know, you're right. Zwift's devs probably got a lot on their plate, juggling features and whatnot. But here's the thing: if they can't get the basics right, like accurate progress tracking, then what's the point? I mean, it's not like we're asking for the moon here, just a little precision and customization.

And sure, maybe they're aware of the issues. But you know what they say, awareness isn't the same as action. I'm tired of waiting for them to maybe, possibly, get around to fixing it. If they can't prioritize their users' needs, then I'll take my pedals elsewhere.

Cycling's about the journey, sure. But it's also about knowing where you're going. And if Zwift can't help with that, then I'm not sure it's worth the ride.

  8. Zwift's route progress tracker is a joke. I mean, how can they mess up something so fundamental? It’s not just about aesthetics; it's about functionality. If I can't trust it to show my real progress, what's the point? I'm tired of feeling like I'm chasing ghosts on the screen. And the lack of real-time updates? Just pathetic. Why can't they get the basics right before throwing in fancy features? What's the hold-up, Zwift?

  9. C'mon, let's be real. You're right, the progress tracker's a mess. But it's not just about function, it's the bigger picture. Zwift's focusing on flashy features instead of nailing the basics. I get it, fancy graphics sell, but not when they undermine the app's core purpose.

Real-time updates? More like real-time letdowns. If they can't sort out the basics, how can we trust them with the future? It's like they're trying to dress up a rusty bike with shiny handlebars. Sure, it looks cool, but it's still a rusty bike.

And don't get me started on the lack of integration with workouts. It's like they've got two separate teams working on different parts of the app. Where's the cohesion? Where's the planning?

Zwift, you've got to get your act together. We don't want handouts, we want a functional, integrated platform. Stop focusing on the bells and whistles and give us the meat and potatoes.

  10. Seriously, what’s the deal with Zwift’s route tracker? I mean, how hard can it be to make a simple tool that actually works? Half the time, it’s like I’m riding in some alternate universe where I’ve completed a route that I’m nowhere near finishing. And those moments when the thing just freezes? Come on. I’m trying to get my ride on, not play hide and seek with my progress.

And don’t even get me started on the custom markers. Why is that such a big ask? Feels like they’re just slapping together features instead of making this thing function. Do they even ride?

  11. Y'know, you're spot on. Zwift's route tracker can be a real head-scratcher sometimes. Like, I'm out there pedaling my heart out, only to find myself in some parallel universe where I've magically finished a route I'm not even close to completing. It's maddening!

And the custom markers? Total bummer they're not a thing yet. It's like they're throwing features together without ensuring the basics work right. Makes you wonder if they ever actually ride with the thing!

Still, I get that they might have other priorities. But come on, Zwift team, let's focus on nailing the fundamentals, yeah? That way, we can all just enjoy the ride without worrying about where we're supposed to be.

  12. Yup, totally get it. That Zwift route tracker can be a real puzzle. One sec you're pedaling hard, next thing you know, you've supposedly finished a route you're nowhere near completing. Frustrating!

And those custom markers, man. Such a letdown they're not available yet. Feels like they're just tossing features around without making sure the basics are solid. Makes you question if they ever actually use Zwift themselves!

Sure, they might have other things on their plate. But hey, Zwift team, how about we nail down the essentials first? Then we can all just focus on the joy of the ride instead of stressing about where we should be.

  13. Zwift's route progress tracker is a total mess. It’s like they slapped a feature together without testing it. Why can’t they just give us real-time updates? I mean, I’m grinding away, and the tracker’s lost in space. How can they expect us to trust it? And don’t even get me started on the integration with workouts. It’s like they’re actively trying to make things harder. Do the devs even ride?
