Previously we've tried complaining to the big cheese at head office, Prof. Robert Cormack

off mightily when it got bounced down to them, and even then it went to a techie in the IT
department who probably didn't have much influence over the teaching methods of the course (the
real problem).

Another possibility might be the complaints procedure at
uhi.ac.ukpolicy XIV.htmOpen ↗ . However, this says that complaints should
first be raised informally with the local people involved. That's quite reasonable in principle, but
difficult when you can't find out who the local people are.

Herefordshire, but they were staunchly English... Things are not as tidy as you might expect...

in reality the border is a wide grey area where English and Welsh get mixed up.

Yes.. We find both the English and Welsh puzzling... Most of Radnorshire is 'local', same accent
etc.. but anything across the Severn or deeper into Wales.....

I think there was a bit of fuss not so long ago when learning Welsh became compulsory in all schools
in Wales because the comprehensives in Monmouth and Chepstow on the border didn't want to do it.

There are also plenty of hills, as per the film.
