  1. I was out today walking a section of the Kennet and Avon canal between Woolhampton and Kintbury.
At Newbury there was a notice saying 'Nuttall Construction, Towpath Closed'. That's all, no
indication at all of how one was supposed to find a way round. For unhelpfulness, this notice
    really took the biscuit.

They should try this approach with motorists when they close a road <g>.

    Regards, Nick.

They do Nick, close a Motorway and you never get told where to go or how many junctions are closed
    before you can re-join.

Given the unfortunate use of the name in describing hills in Englandandwales, perhaps they are
redressing the balance and giving southern England a fith 2000' top.

It all becomes crystal clear now, they closed the towpath so that they can construct a Nuttall. I
    wonder who the contractor is?
