You are missing the point...

It is not bagging... You just contribute a small part of an overall record. On cp on its own is
meaningless.. but the 2000+ ones now in taken together is a wonderful entertaining educational
resource. There is nothing special about all the zeros other than being an easy way to impose a
random series of points over the Earth. This way you see an unbiased sample (except for the
convergence at the poles problem)

Its great fun now that the Russians are coming in, and the slow northward march in Canada is
interesting too. (I played my part)

confluence.org is a bumper travel book, and a small subsection of the site, Targ Parson's China
visits , is probably one of the best travel "books" I have ever read.

If anyone wishes to contribute, I suggest that they read the requirements details on confluence.org
first. The requirements for the photographs are strict but not onerous. They are trying to work to
a standard.

That's just one of it's meanings. Another, from The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English
Language, Fourth Edition, is: "A gathering, flowing, or meeting together at one juncture or point"

Well that just about fits the spec then. Seems to make more sense in USian than British English.

Besides, it's all explained on the website. In fact, maybe you missed the point(pun intended), as
we aren't dealing with 'flowing mapping lines', but with the points where whole degrees of
latitude and longitude intersect.

No no no. I fully understood. Its just the terminology I am not comfortable with.
