Howdy folks!
For that matter, where do things stand with their tadpole trike?

Isn't it silly to not introduce them at the first of spring instead of the middle of summer?

I agree it would be better to have them out by march. I think SUN/JBimporters stays fairly cautious:
they showed the models, start taking orders, and gauge the interest of each model and the amount to
invest. In this unstable economy, and ever riskier bent business, maybe not a bad approach.bentcruiser said:

I think that the Tadpole won't be out until July but I thought that the SWB and the EZ Rider would
be out in March with the rest of the 2004 stuff."bentcruiser" <[email hidden]> wrote in message

The SWB is due with the rest of the new goodies in March... The Tadpole is going to be a bit later.
Sheesh, it's only been about 2 years since the EZ Sports came out, and now we have the EZ-3 and EZ-
Tandem, and soon we will have the EZ Rider, EZ USS and EZ SWB. With the various levels of bikes,
steel, aluminum, etc... There will soon be like 16 different bikes! That's roughly a new model every
month and half 🙂 I'll update the website someday.Gabe

Howdy Gabe and others!
Great source of information, ARBR is! Thanks for all the terrific responses! I'm looking forward to
seeing the new bikes in March. Gabe, how will a guy almost 6'7" fit on the bikes coming out in
March? Also, why is the tadpole taking longer than the other bikes? Can you give more clarity as to
when the tadpole might make its appearance? Updating the website is a GREAT idea, as there are a
number of us who are waiting eagerly for the advent of these bikes and we'll take whatever scrap of
info we can get! (lol)--

Howdy Gabe!
One more comment for you and the folks with Sun - A big thanks for making recumbents that average
families have a realistic shot of affording! My youngest daughter (10) is a huge recumbent fan and
she's become my riding buddy. She rides an EZ-1. She really enjoyed riding trikes the last time we
visited the bike shop (which is almost 3 hours from us, so it is no small trip) and with luck, the
Sun tadpole will actually be within the range of your average family man! I haven't told my lil'
Rachel about it yet, but I will as things get closer. Thanks again for making decent quality recumbents that are affordable by real families!

Thanks for the kind words, makes this job so much more satisfying 🙂
6'7" eh? That's a bit above the range we try to design for. One-size-fits-all is really hard to
accomplish. The SWB will be available in 2 sizes, medium and large, the large "might" fit, but I
kinda doubt it. The EZ Rider also "might" fit. The Tadpole I believe will fit, although again, I'm
not 100% sure. But the Tadpole does have a somewhat longer frame and an adjustable boom so I think
it will work for you.The Tadpole was at the tail end of the design schedule and missed the deadline for our big order
from taiwan. Obviously we want it out ASAP, we really hope for a summer release.Updating the website is a double-edged sword. It creates interest, and people call and e-mail but we
still have no product to sell them, so it sucks up our time for no $$$.I will update the website as the bikes become available.
