Hey, my smallest front gear is beaten up to much to use any more (one tooth is missing anyways)
What is the smallest number of teeth i can get for it, i usually see like 20, 22 being the biggest,
but i was looking for something smaller.

My question is, why would you need anything smaller?

Are you sure the tooth is missing? A lot of rings have ground down teeth to aid in shifting.

I believe only the middle and outer rings have shortened teeth for upshifting. My small ring doesn't
have any special shifting features of any sort, while my middle and big rings are ramped and pinned
(RaceFace).

Well i found 20t rings, but only in 5 bolt, i need 4 bolt. Would the two tooth diffenence in ratio
be noticeable?

Well if you had a 18T front ring you might need more than one to pass pesdestrians.
