Commuting rims?

Mavic MA2 - if any shops have them left. Avoid anything with non-stainless steel eyelets.

As an alternative to the Mavic recommendations I'll suggest Alesa Endeavour.

Don't see them in a lot of shops (no one got sack for selling Mavic?) but Spa Cyles will have them.

Wheel build is probably at least as important as rim. FWIW I've used Alesa Xplorer, Mavic T221, some
nameless deep-V things and Sun Rhyno, all without problems. The Rhyno is often favoured by
tandemists.

You may find that these are only available in 32 hole, personally I wouldn't consider that an issue.

I'm currently running CXP33's on Xenon Hubs for Winter training and Open Pro's on Record hubs for
Summer training, both purchased from Ribble and both perform flawlessly.

Yes, I was impressed with the Alesa rims from Spa and their price !

How? don't know. Any problems...never. They build on demand so delivery takes about 7-10 days. When
I ordered the 32spoke CXP's online they phoned me the next day to say they only had 36's, would I
like them on did I want to wait. They phoned the next day to say they had got some in...I received
them 3 days later. That's what I call good service.
