Nah, I don't have a video, but I can tell you it's like threading a needle, but with less swearing. Check your front derailleur manual for specifics 🚲🔧💁♂️

C'mon guys, I've been searching for ages and can't find anything decent on threading the cable at the top of the front derailleur. It's crucial for a smooth shift, especially in criterium races. I found this one video, but the quality is so bad it's hardly helpful. We need a solid reference, something clear and concise. Let's share some resources, folks!

I've seen plenty of cable threading vids, but not one specifically for crit racing. Most are generic and should still apply. Just make sure it's for the correct front derailleur model. Can't cut corners on proper setup.

As far as I know the Ultegra FD R-8000 is included in the new generation of derailleurs from Shimano - BTW what is
crit racing - I have this derailleur and don't know if I'm a crit racer - anyway I generally bring my bike to the LBS but I just like to know how things work - the reason I like to know more about this FD is because cable tensioning can be done at the derailleur & I'm not sure if it trumps and replaces the barrel adjuster .
